Studio Portrait of Private William Newton Mitchell. Born in St Catherines Ontario, but living in vancouver at the time of his enlistment, Mitchell went overseas with the 67th Western Scots Battlaion. While training at Bramshott Camp in Hampshire, England, he died of an illness associated with the liver.
