Studio portrait of Lt Col Charles McEachran, Veterinary Corps. McEachran enlisted in October 1917 in Montreal where he joined the 1st Depot Battalion Quebec Regiment. As a member of the Veterinary Corps, McEachran was responsible for assessing the fittness of horses for the battlefields of Western Europe.
