Studio portrait of Sargent Davil Liddell in uniform agianst a solid white background. Born in Greenock, Scotland, Liddell enlisted in Winnipeg in December, 1914. He was wounded at Ypres May 21st, 1916 but would recover and remain overseas, The gunshot wound he recieved left him with stiffness in his right leg and as a result he was transfered to base duty until his demobilization at the end of the war.
