Description
A post card from the Westmorland Sanatorim at Meathop - used for treatment of tuberculosis, the photograph features sleeping "shelters" which have large windows for the ventilation considered so important in the treatment of the disease. The recipent of the postcard was living in Kendal, the town adjacent to the sanatorium.
