[Tintent photographic portrait of Private from the 24th Infantry Battalion, "Victoria Rifles." Private is wearing a Gor Blimey Cap. Recruited and mobilized in Montreal, the Batallion arrived in France September 15th, 1915 with 42 officers and 1,082-9 other ranks under the Command of Lieutenant-Colonel J.A. Gunn. Served in France and Belgium with the 5th Infantry Brigade, 2nd Canadian Division.]
