Ducks Bill Crater in 1919. The location of the 1st Canadian Infantry Battalion's attack on German forces during the 2nd Battle of Givenchy, June 15-16, 1915. The battle followed action at Festubert in May, 1915 where Canadian troops suffered 2,468 casualties and a further 400 at Givenchy for negligible gains.Image is quite damaged and discoloured. All four corners are missing.
