Stone cottage in a rural setting with a title to indicate that it was in Tisbury, Wiltshire, in Southern England. The Vicarage at Tisbury was the site of an auxilary hospital, run by the Red Cross in connection with central Military Hospitals. Most patients placed in these types of hospitals were less seriously wounded and needed time to convalesce.
