Description
Field Marshal Herbert Plumer, in France on an unspecified date. A senior British army officer, Plumer was sent to France in 1915 in command of V Corps, and soon after took command of the Second Army, leading them through numerous battles, including victory at Messines in June, 1917, and the Hundred days Offensive.
