Panoramic shot of Canadian soldiers in Cambrai's main square with the chared ruins pf buildings in centre, and other buildings with less or no damage seen through the smoke in the background. The Battle of Cambrai, part of the Hundred Days Offensive, took place between the 8-10 October, 1918, was a success, short and with very few casualties for the Allies.
